These terms apply to services purchased directly on this website. Larger engagements, including bundles and retainers, are governed by the written agreement you sign before work begins. Where the two differ, the signed agreement controls.
Effective date: August 12, 2026
What you buy is what appears on the module card at the time of purchase. The INCLUDED list is the full scope. The NOT INCLUDED list is binding, and items named there are separate services that are quoted before any work on them begins.
Modules purchased on this site are paid in full before work begins. Within one business day of payment you receive a short intake form and a confirmed start date. The timeline shown on the card is working time. It starts when your completed intake form is returned.
Purchases are refundable in full for three business days from the date of payment, or until you submit your completed intake form, whichever comes first. After that point the module is in production and the fee is not refundable. This applies to modules and to the Book-to-Client Audit, which are purchased directly on this site. Bundles, packages, and retainers are governed by the signed agreement, which states its own terms. Retainers are not refundable and cancel with 30 days' notice.
Deliverable modules include two rounds of revisions. A round is one consolidated set of comments returned on one draft. Comments sent piecemeal across several messages are counted as separate rounds, so please gather them before you send them. Revisions address the work as scoped. A change of direction is new work and is quoted separately.
Retainers do not include revision rounds, because retainers are ongoing work rather than a fixed deliverable.
We need your completed intake, your approval at the points named in the schedule, and reasonable access to the accounts the work touches. Where access is required we ask for a user seat in your name, never your password, and that access ends when the engagement ends.
If we do not hear from you for thirty days on active work, the project pauses and your place in the schedule is released. If we do not hear from you for ninety days, the project closes, the work is delivered in whatever state it has reached, and payment is not refunded. We will write to you more than once before either of those happens.
If we cannot complete work you have paid for, we refund the portion not yet delivered and tell you as soon as we know.
Some work requires third-party services that you pay for directly, on your own accounts, at cost. These include email platform subscriptions, website domain and hosting, review distribution platform fees, and advertising spend. We do not mark these up and we do not hold them.
Paid media management, where it applies, carries a flat monthly fee and never a percentage of your spend. Advertising spend passes through on your own accounts. Paid media engagements carry a three-month minimum.
You own the finished deliverables once payment has cleared in full.
Your Amazon KDP account, IngramSpark account, email platform, website, advertising accounts, and social profiles remain in your name. Royalties and payouts are made directly to you. We are not your publisher and we do not hold your ISBN.
We may describe the work we have done and display non-confidential examples of it. Tell us in writing if you would prefer that we did not, and we will not.
We plan and execute the work described on each card. We do not guarantee outcomes that depend on third parties, and no service on this site should be purchased on the expectation of any of the following:
We do not arrange incentivized or paid reviews under any circumstances, because they breach retailer terms and put your account at risk.
Results vary based on existing platform, services selected, and implementation timeline.
Launch work is scheduled against your publication date. If that date moves, we reschedule and tell you before anything changes. A launch phase is planned to run no longer than four months from kickoff, and work beyond that window is quoted separately before it begins.
We take three concurrent launches. If all three places are taken when you contact us, we will tell you the next date we can start rather than accept the work and stretch it.
Unpublished material you send us is never shared or reproduced. That discipline extends to the free review, where we do not read passages aloud or display pages on screen.
We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to it.
