BOOK MARKETING FOR BUSINESS AUTHORS

A book builds credibility.
It does not build a pipeline.

We run the listing, the reviews, the launch and the pitching. Then we write the material that turns a reader into an inquiry, drafted from your book and in your voice, which is the part most firms leave with you.

What we build and run around the book

WE RUN

the marketing every book needs

Listing

Rebuilt against the category you actually want to compete in. Description, keywords, categories, author bio, back matter, edition linking and Author Central.

Reviews

Advance copies placed with readers who review, plus editorial submissions where your genre supports them. Every request is logged, and the log is yours when the campaign closes.

Ads

Built and managed once the reviews are in place, on a budget you set and pay directly.

Podcast

Shows chosen against your reader, pitched, booked and prepped. You show up and talk.

WE WRITE

the part most firms leave with you

Workbook and worksheets

Drafted from your book, up to 40 pages, print ready and screen fillable. Most authors use it as their sign-up download.

Landing page and emails

The page a reader lands on after the last page, and the sequence that follows, written the way you write.

Every piece is drafted from your book and approved by you before it goes anywhere.

where we go next

Three routes, depending on where your book is

We route on one thing before anything else, which is whether the book is out yet. Pick the line that sounds like you.

Not published yet

Get the launch right the first time

You have a manuscript and maybe a date. We run the launch, and if there is no website or email list underneath it yet, we build those on the same timeline.

Publication decisions locked, review campaigns running before publication day, endorsements lined up, and launch week executed on a dated schedule.

Recommended: Launch + Press Kit, $4,597

Out, and nobody is finding it

Get the book found and reviewed

The book is out and almost nobody is finding it. That is usually the listing and the reviews rather than the book.

We rebuild the listing against the category you want to compete in and run the review campaigns, before you spend anything on ads.

Recommended: Launch Ready, $1,497

THE WORK WE ARE KNOWN FOR

Out, and readers are not inquiring

Turn readers into clients

Your book is out and the inquiries are not coming. The book is rarely the problem. Nothing was built to follow it, and that is what you can buy here.

We build the route from the last page to an inquiry. The workbook or the worksheets, the landing page, the email sequence, and the positioning behind them.

Recommended: Growth, $6,497

Not sure which one you are? The free review names the single thing holding your book back and tells you which of the three you need. Send the book, the website and your LinkedIn profile. Nothing you send leaves our hands. Request yours.

who we serve

Book marketing for coaches, consultants, speakers and fractional executives

Built for business authors whose books are meant to bring in work. Your book did the convincing. We run everything that comes after it.

01

Business Coaches

You run a six or seven figure practice and your book already convinces people. What it never does is ask them for anything. A reader finishes the last page, agrees with you, and then has nowhere to go. We write the next step and we run the campaign that puts it in front of them.

02

Consultants

A prospect who emails you has usually already read two or three other people who do what you do. Your book is the reason they picked you out of that group. What happens next is a proposal, a follow-up, and a case for your fee. Most consultants build all three from scratch every time. We build the page they land on, write the follow-up that goes out after it, and fix what they find when they look you up.

03

Speakers and Trainers

Your book gets you in the room. The talk ends, a few people follow up, and everyone else leaves with nothing in their hands. We write the workbook they take with them, and we run the pitching that gets you into more rooms.

04

Fractional Executives

Fractional roles are filled from a short list, and the short list is built from people whose thinking someone has already read. Your book gets you onto that list. What moves you to a signed engagement is everything the hiring executive reads between the introduction and the offer. We build the listing, the profile and the material they find when they look you up.

THE FREE REVIEW

See one before you request one

This is what a review says.

THE BOOK

A fractional CFO’s book on cash flow, written for founders of companies between five and thirty million in revenue. Well argued. It reads like it was written by someone who has actually done it.

THE LAST PAGE

A paragraph thanking the reader for their time, and then the acknowledgments.

THE LINK

The back matter prints a URL with the firm’s full name, a subdirectory, and a hyphenated phrase after the slash. Twenty-nine characters. Nobody holding a paperback types that, and the QR code beside it does nothing for the person reading on a Kindle.

WHERE IT GOES

The firm’s homepage. Nine navigation items, a services grid, and a contact form that asks for company size and reason for inquiry.

THE GAP

Nothing on that platform was built for a reader who has just finished the book. They arrive as a stranger, at a page designed for strangers, having just spent six hours inside your thinking. The reader who was most ready to hire you is treated exactly like the reader who has never heard of you.

WHAT WE WOULD BUILD FIRST

One page that says, in effect: you just read the book, here is the forecast model from chapter four, fill it in. Email address, nothing else on the page. That is the whole fix and it is about a week of work.

This example is a composite, assembled from patterns that repeat across the reviews we record. We do not put a client’s book on our website. Yours will name your book, your last page, and your link, and it will stay between us.

The version we see most often is the one above. The book ends, the reader is thanked, and the only thing waiting for them is a homepage. Request yours →

HOW IT WORKS

How done-for-you book marketing actually works

01

Start with a review or a call

The easiest place to start is the free review: a recorded video within two business days naming the single biggest gap. Authors with a publication date should book a call as well, since the date governs the schedule.

02

We build it and we run it

The listing rebuild, the review campaigns and the pitching on one side. The workbook, the worksheets and the email sequence on the other, drafted from your book. Hand the writing over entirely or keep the pen while we build around you. Either way you approve every asset before it goes anywhere.

03

Launch and optimize

Your system goes live and we watch what readers actually do, adjusting the copy against it and sending you a plain report of what moved. When the engagement ends, all of it stays yours and keeps running without us.

The framework

The Book-to-Client Framework

Three things decide whether a book produces clients. Most authors have the first and are missing the other two.

Who it is for

Who the book speaks to, and what it promises.

We read your book the way your ideal client would, then tell you who it should speak to and what it should promise.

What a reader sees

What a reader can see of your thinking before they call you.

We write material that lets a reader watch your thinking work before they ever get on a call with you.

What comes next

What the reader does next, and whether anything exists for them to do.

A reader finishes the last page persuaded, and most books end there. We build the route from that moment to an inquiry, and it runs without your daily attention.

where it breaks

THE LAST PAGE

A reader finishes, and agrees with you

nothing

Most books end here.

HIRING YOU

An inquiry, a call, an engagement

SIX QUESTIONS

Where does your book leak?

Answer honestly about your own book. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored. At the end it names the gap that is costing you the most.

The Free Review goes further. It names the one specific gap in your book, by hand, in a recorded video.
