Most of what we write is invisible by design. It carries the author's name and not ours, and a good deal of it sits behind an email address. What follows is the part we can show.

CASE STUDIES
Read the full case studies
Each case study covers what the author had when we started, what we wrote and built, and what happened after.
Each one reads the same way: the situation we were handed, what we wrote, and what happened afterward. Only clients whose permission is on file appear here.
Dr. Rod Berger
The Narrative Edge (Wiley)
SITUATION
A finished book with a major publisher and an established professional presence, but no email list, no book marketing infrastructure, and no plan to turn his existing audience into readers.
WHAT WE WROTE
An email marketing system built from zero and the lead magnet that grew his list before launch.
WHAT HAPPENED
A #1 New Release in Media and Communications, podcast appearances booked through our pitching, and a featured guest appearance on a CBS Morning Show affiliate that we pitched and booked.
A finished book under a private imprint, headed for categories that did not reach the entrepreneurs it was written for.
WHAT WE WROTE
Repositioned metadata and messaging aimed at the entrepreneurs the book was written for, and copy for some of the emails and landing pages he built to reach them.
WHAT HAPPENED
#1 Amazon Bestseller in Entrepreneurship, the category we moved it into before publication.
A co-authored book on trauma psychology under a private imprint, with no email list and nothing for a reader to do after the last page.
WHAT WE WROTE
A worksheet, a journal and a practitioner guide drawn from the book’s framework. We also wrote the segmented email campaign that grew the list, and a webinar with its funnel.
WHAT HAPPENED
A #1 New Release in Trauma Psychology. The email list grew from zero to more than 500 subscribers, and he made more than 30 podcast appearances in ten months.
A method taught in the room and in the book, with nothing a reader could take away and work through on their own.
WHAT WE WROTE
Three companion workbooks drawn from his method, four guides, the four landing pages built to deliver them, and the email campaign that carries readers through all of it.
WHAT HAPPENED
The method now runs as a set of assets his readers can use without him in the room.
Business author, healthcare
Self-published
SITUATION
A published book, readers arriving, and no reason for any of them to go further than the page they landed on.
WHAT WE WROTE
The lead magnet, the landing page built to deliver it, and the email sequence that follows.
WHAT HAPPENED
A 34% increase in website click-throughs in 60 days.
Results vary based on existing platform, package selected, and implementation timeline.

My challenge was basic, but one that I have found keeps many authors up at night: how can I package together my work so that others will pay attention? That's where Elizabeth Javor comes in. Fast forward, and I was a featured guest on a CBS Morning Show affiliate.

I thought writing our book would be the hard part. It turns out that planning and executing a marketing plan is the hard part. We could never have achieved a #1 new release in Trauma Psychology on Amazon without Elizabeth Javor of The Book Marketing Source. She was always professional, smart, helpful, and, dare I say, nice. She contributed to our book in so many meaningful ways. You cannot go wrong with Elizabeth and her team.

Elizabeth's recommendations work. In the first 60 days, I increased the average number of clients clicking on my website by 34%. As a nonfiction author who was truly self-published, I was impressed by how effective her guidance was.

Marketing a faith-based nonfiction book requires care and clarity. The Book Marketing Source helped me sharpen my message and build a simple path that moved readers from interest to action. In just 60 days, my website click-throughs increased by 13% and my email sign-ups climbed 22%. The strategy was disciplined, measurable, and aligned with my values.
